 Andrea's duties include: telephone and reception duties; the day to day running of the Sure Start office; projects links for monitoring; organising meetings & venues; administrative support for the Sure Start Team.

| Clinical Psychologist - Elaine Thomson |
I give a service to three SureStart areas which include, Glodwick,
St. Mary's, Higginshaw, Westwood Coldhurst and Werneth St. John's.
My role is to provide consultation and training on the social and emotional development of infants and young children by supporting and developing services to promote positive infant parent relationships. I am keen for parent's to learn and feel confident in understanding their baby's style of playing and talking and how to "tune in" sensitively to get the most out of being with their babies and so develop secure relationships.If you would like to email Elaine Thomson, please click here |

| Finance Officer - John Hoskins |
 As finance officer for SureStart Glodwick,St Mary's and Higginshaw, it is my job to liase with the SureStart unit in order to claim annual grants,feedback on how we are spending the grant,and finally to fill out the necessary financial documentation needed by the SureStart Unit.
My other duties include working closely with Richard(programme Co-ordinator)so that the budget reflects any new projects or events etc; to report all financial information back to the partnership so as to maintain a high degree of transparency in our work and also to provide a financial support service for any SureStart affiliated groups having difficulties with their finance systems. |

| Infant Feeding Advisor - Jo Mayall |
 My role is to provide advice,support and training across the PCT and within Glodwick,St.Mary's and Higginshaw, to promote evidence based infant feeding practices and policies.

 As the Marketing co-ordinator for the Glodwick, St. Mary's and Higginshaw SureStart my role is to ensure that all promotional items, schemes and events which are either designed or supported by the project are produced with a set of definitive guidelines.
We beleive that ensuring that our branding is always consistent and visible instills a level of confidence and belief in our project as well as reflecting the high quality service we provide to our local communities. |

| Service Development Co-ordinator - Bernadette Royales |
 I joined the SureStart Team in October 2003 following many years experience working with Oldham Social Services as a Family Support Manager.
My current role as a Service Development Co-ordinator is to lead and develop services for Early Years alongside Family Health and Socail Care Services. I will be working closely with community providers to deliver services that meet local needs across the whole of the SureStart Communities. |

 My role is to find out what parents want in order to increase and develop their social, educational and employment opportunities and to support them into training and volunteering.
My priorities at the moment are
· To develop policies and procedures for volunteering within Surestart, Glodwick, St Mary’s and Higginshaw
· To develop the Parents’ forum, the voice of local parents in the Surestart decision making partnership
· To involve parents in the development and management of child care projects which SureStart supports
· To increase the number of local parents who are qualified to work in child care provision locally.
